No Refund & No Return Policy

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order with Pixel Portraits ("we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this No Refund and No Return Policy.

1. All Sales Are Final

All sales made through our store are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed and payment has been processed. This applies to all products sold, including but not limited to custom-made, personalized, and made-to-order items.

2. No Refunds

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or accidental purchases
  • Dissatisfaction with the product after delivery
  • Delays in shipping or delivery
  • Failure to read the product description prior to purchase

3. No Returns or Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason. Once an item has been shipped, it cannot be returned. We encourage all customers to review product details, sizes, and descriptions carefully before completing a purchase.

4. Exceptions for Defective or Damaged Items

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@pixelportraits.shop with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photographs clearly showing the damage or defect

We reserve the sole discretion to determine whether an item qualifies as defective or damaged and to offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or store credit. This exception does not constitute a general return or refund policy.

5. Custom & Personalized Orders

All custom and personalized products are made specifically for you and are non-refundable and non-returnable under any circumstances, including in the event of dissatisfaction with the final result, as long as the item was produced according to the specifications provided at the time of order.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

By placing an order, you agree that initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for any reason other than unauthorized use of your payment method is a violation of this policy. We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback filed in contravention of these terms and to pursue any available legal remedies.

7. EU Consumer Rights — Important Notice for EU Customers

If you are located in the European Union, please note that under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have certain statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract. Specifically:

  • 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period): EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason, and to receive a full refund. This right applies unless an exemption under Article 16 of the Directive applies (see below).
  • Exemptions to the Right of Withdrawal: The following categories of goods are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law:
    • Custom-made or clearly personalised products
    • Goods that have been made to the consumer's specifications
    • Goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons

As the majority of our products are custom-made and personalised specifically for each customer, they are generally exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. However, if you have purchased a non-personalised item, you may be entitled to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receipt. To initiate a withdrawal, please contact us at info@pixelportraits.shop within the applicable period.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any statutory rights you may have under EU law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

8. Compliance with Applicable Law

This policy is intended to be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be lawfully excluded. If any provision of this policy conflicts with applicable law, the applicable legal requirements will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
